Superheroes is part of 15 artworks installed for the Supporting Healthcare Signal Box Wraps project with the City of Hamilton. This design was shortlisted by a volunteer citizen jury and selected after a round of public opinion surveys.

It features a diverse group of citizens waving to several healthcare professionals flying through the sky. Characters in the sky and on the ground have been given capes so signify that everyone has an important role to play during the pandemic whether that is helping patients, taking care of children or working at the grocery store.

Other elements associated with health and wellness like being outdoors, having an active lifestyle, healthy eating, and of course nature were also included. It is meant to be a celebration of our vital healthcare workers and citizens.
