This statue was completed as part of the 6ix Art Outdoor Exhibit, located in the Toronto Distillery District for the 2022 Lavazza IncluCity Festival, organized by the ICFF (Italian Contemporary Film Festival).

I am Vietnamese-Chinese Canadian and this statue is inspired by my culture and heritage. It features the traditional Vietnamese áo dài, combining both lotus flower motifs and maple leaves to represent both the eastern and western cultures I grew up with. On the front is a family portrait of my family as their zodiac animals.
